Lotte Kopecky joins SD Worx for 2022 season
Belgian champion signs three-year contract with top women's team
Kopecky has been one of the most in-demand riders on the women's cycling transfer market, and her signing is a major coup for SD Worx.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season in 2021, winning the Tour of Flanders, Strade Bianche, and Gent-Wevelgem, as well as finishing second in the World Championships road race.
Kopecky will join a star-studded SD Worx team that also includes reigning world champion Anna van der Breggen, Olympic champion Annemiek van Vleuten, and former Giro d'Italia winner Demi Vollering.
The Belgian rider is expected to play a key role in SD Worx's bid to win the team classification at the Women's WorldTour, as well as target individual victories in the Classics and Grand Tours.
Kopecky's signing is a further sign of SD Worx's commitment to dominating the women's peloton. The team has already won 10 races in 2021, and is on course to win the team classification at the Women's WorldTour.
With Kopecky on board, SD Worx will be even more formidable in 2022 and will be the team to beat in the women's peloton.
