Official and FIA-Confirmed Entries Now Available
The official entry list for the 2023 Rechbergrennen, the second round of the FIA European Hill Climb Championship, has been released.
The list features a strong contingent of drivers from across Europe, including reigning champion Christian Merli of Italy and former champion Simone Faggioli of Switzerland. Other top contenders include Norbert Niederhauser of Switzerland, Lukas Wimmer of Germany, and Nicolas Schatz of Luxembourg.
The Rechbergrennen will take place on April 29-30, 2023. The race will consist of two timed runs up the challenging 3.2-kilometer Rechberg mountain road.
The Rechbergrennen is one of the most prestigious hill climb races in Europe. It has been held annually since 1930 and has attracted some of the world's greatest drivers, including Bernd Rosemeyer, Rudolf Caracciola, and Tazio Nuvolari.
